a collaboration between James Madison University, George Mason University, Old Dominion University and NOVA Labs
The Virginia Drones Project is a higher education initiative sponsored by 4-VA that teaches students to respond to global problems through applied, interdisciplinary learning experiences. During the Fall 2016 semester, students and faculty from three Virginia universities (James Madison, Old Dominion, and George Mason) worked closely with entrepreneurs and experts in UAV technologies to provide solutions to problems as varied as landmine disposal to solving bee colony collapse. Click on each team’s homepage in the navigation bar to learn how these interdisciplinary teams of undergraduates thought big and worked hard to design innovative solutions to such issues.
